In addition to photographing numerous celebrity covers, fashion/beauty spreads and advertising assignments, Matthew has been featured in several publications including In Style, Zoom, Photo District News and more.

St. Martins Press published his first book Sepia Dreams, with an introduction by Vanessa Williams.  Matthew’s second book Lost & Found was sanctioned by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and sponsored by The Microsoft Corporation.  Smith’s third book is currently in production.

Matthew sits on the board of both Kids With a Cause Europe and APA/LA.  A native of New York City, Matthew resides in Los Angeles.
