B I O G R A P H Y

Louise and Joseph Simone have been involved in photography since 1975. They started at the bottom of the ladder when they bought their first studio. They took over a very high volume and average quality studio. They immediately realized that to weather any storm and to succeed, they would have to work their way up by learning, growing and bringing their craft to a level of excellence in order to create their own signature. They have certainly established their signature and their vision remains quite meaningful today in our digital world.

Since then, they have constantly invested in their profession leading them to a prolific career. Their undying efforts were recognized by numerous awards and accolades. They continue to be requested across the world as renowned speakers. In fact, their reputation has reached many borders; in the last fifteen years, Louise and Joseph have been regularly invited to teach in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Austria, The Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Martinique, Canada, and the United States as Eastman Kodak Pro Mentors.

The Vision

In the photographic marketplace today, we need to develop a unique style to stay competitive. After more than thirty years in professional photography, we are forced to evolve towards a fresh approach without neglecting the fundamental principles of art.

We decided to offer commissioned portrait paintings of an innovative and contemporary style which we continue to market to our high potential clientele. In our program we will explain how we have modified our lighting techniques for commissioned portrait painting and show our workflow from the beginning of the portrait session to the digital painting with the use of Corel Painter software.
